Moisture Detection in both Interior & Exterior Walls, Windows, Floors and Ceilings
Thermal imaging helps to identify water damage in walls, floors, and ceilings that could otherwise be harder to detect. Thermal imaging technology identifies differences in temperature between a wet area and surrounding dry areas.
Missing or Defective Insulation Detection
Thermal imaging identifies areas where the insulation is missing or rotted due to rodents, weather damage, age, etc.
More detailed plumbing inspections
Plumbing system leaks often go undetected until major damage has occurred. We use the technology of the thermal image scanner to find heat anomalies and we then use our moisture meter to identify how much moisture is present.
Roof Inspections
Thermal imaging detects location of roof leaks into the ceiling and mark the affected area so that repairs can be made to the leaking area.
Electrical Inspection – Thermal imaging can detect hot spots in the electrical system not visible to the naked eye which may be a precursor to a larger issue.
Infrared electrical inspections find hot spots caused by defects in connections and components. Electrical heating is a sign of failure and infrared is a diagnostic which detects hot connections in the early stages of degeneration.
Thermal Image Scanning is NOT?
MOISTURE METER – The infrared thermal imaging camera is NOT a moisture meter. It simply identifies thermal anomalies. This device helps in identifying areas that need further investigation.
X-RAY VISION – The infrared thermal imaging camera is NOT an X-ray vision scope. It only identifies thermal differences.
RISK ELIMINATOR – The infrared thermal imaging camera does NOT completely remove the risks of concealed damage. It does not guarantee 100% accuracy in thermal imaging readings.
